NAIROBI - SALES DIRECTOR

Responsibilities: • Reports to the President of Africa and Middle East Operations. • Plans and executes regional business plans to increase market share and achieve aggressive and sustainable double-digit growth targets. • Formulates and develops strategies to obtain new customers while maintaining relationships and identifying growth opportunities with existing customers. •Has personal sales responsibilities. • Supports and oversees assigned Sales Managers. • Identify effective partners in support of his growth initiatives for each country customer as required.

Skills Required: • BS degree in an applicable discipline, or equivalent, with a Master’s Degree preferable. • Minimum of 10 years experience in sales with experience in managing sales teams in the telco industry. • Background in telecommunications and IP. • History of leadership in double-digit sales growth in developing markets. • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets. • Able to identify focus opportunities and to establish priorities. • Good understanding of customer's needs and mentality. • Local contacts and accessibility with CXO’s level within the local operators. • Self-starter, highly motivated, hands-on, decisive with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Integrity, initiative, keen business acumen and the professional stature to match the challenges of the role. • Ability to work well with internal and external senior management in a diverse cultural environment. • Multi-tasking, planning, reporting and forecasting skills.
