LAGOS - GENERAL MANAGER
Job Description : General Manager will be based in Nigeria, being in charge of Western countries of Africa. This position is a combination of managerial and business activities in a complex environment and extensive initiative. This role reports to the Sales Regional VP.
Responsabilities: Initiating, developing and managing sales and business activity in the territory. Managing on-going and complex sales processes on the project level, which are conducted directly with government elements, telecom companies, infrastructure companies, etc. Managing 2-3 employees in the office: Presale, Post sale support, Administration. Detecting and initiating new sales processes and business opportunities. Conducting continuous negotiation processes with large business organizations and governments. Promoting the company's goals and the regional objectives while cooperating with the other company's interfaces and departments such as: Marketing, Customer Support, Legal, Finance, etc. Building strong and good relations with customers through mutual interests. Identifying and developing new sales opportunities in the market.
Skill Required : Mother tongue level of English - ability to conduct negotiations as well as verbal and written fluency. Formal education: BA and some technological background is a must, Engineering degree, MBA etc is an advantage. Experience in continuous, complex processes of sales to large institutes. Experience in the relevant territory is an advantage. Background in sales to telephony/ infrastructure/ governmental organizations is an advantage. Management experience is an advantage. Excellent interpersonal relations; ability to establish and nurture collaborations with internal and external customers over time. Confident conduct and demeanour and strong personal authority. Proven experience in developing business activities in the private and governmental sectors.
