ARGEL - FINANCE MANAGER
Job Description : 1 - To maintain financial accounts and records in accordance with generally accepted accounting principle as set out in policies and procedures. 2 - To prepare statutory reportings and filings to government agencies and to the parent corporation in accordance with defined schedules of requirements, liaison with auditors, government inspectors, and headquarters personnel as needed. 3 - Analyze and interpret financial results and provide counsel to Sales and Service functional managers to optimize operating results. 4 - Maintain high standards of controllership and business ethics through review of policies related to business conduct and ensuring that compliance review processes are in place. 5 - Lead the development of self-managing teams in Finance, ensuring participative processes and employee involvement are ingrained in the organization. 6 - Act as the finance function representative on councils and committees 7 - Understand and participate in setting business strategies and the link to financials. Skill Required : University graduate Recognized accounting designation, or equivalent experience. External hires: 5 to 10 years combined public & industrial experience. Internal hires: Finance Management Professionals/ Corporate Audit Staff with 5 + years previous experience in Controllership, Commercial Finance. Fluent in English, French would be an added advantage. Proven Leadership skills Desired - Good understanding of the Healthcare market - Qualified CPA is a plus. Send email to
